About Us
Kathleen McMahon, MA LPC
My therapeutic approach focuses on creating an affirmative, compassionate, and non-judgmental space that supports healing, growth, and self-discovery. I am sex-positive, culturally sensitive, and LGBTQIA+ affirming, and I work collaboratively with clients to help them feel seen, heard, and understood.
I believe you are not defined by your disorder or symptoms. Together, we can explore your unique story, engage the healing process, and uncover your authentic self. My goal is to meet you where you are while providing individualized guidance and practical, solution-oriented tools to foster growth. I adapt my approach based on your needs, goals, and feedback, drawing from an integrative and eclectic foundation that prioritizes what works best for you.
I find it especially fulfilling to support clients navigating C-PTSD, insecure attachments, and anxiety, as well as those exploring their identity, sexuality, and relationships. To better support my clients, I’m dedicated to continuous learning. My growth-oriented mindset applies not only to my clients but also to my own personal and professional development. You deserve to feel supported, valued, and ready to embrace your true self. I’m honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
Alexandra Treat, MA LPC
Sometimes we all need a little bit of assistance during our journey of growth. Growth is a deeply personal process, and it unfolds differently for each of us. I offer unique patience and compassion, honoring the sacred pacing and space that each person needs to move through their process at their own rhythm. It would be my honor to have the opportunity to view the world from your lens while together we work through life’s complexities. My dedication lies in creating an empathetic and judgment free space in order to provide a comfortable and safe environment where you can share your personal experiences. By utilizing humanistic and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques, I aim to encourage personal growth and self discovery.
My passion lies with a variety of populations, which include (but are not limited to) depression, anxiety, post-partum disorders, infertility support, C-PTSD, relational issues, parenting concerns, LGBTQIA+ support, and life transitions. I am sex-positive, culturally sensitive, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and neurodivergent affirming. I find individuals make the most significant strides in their journey towards healing when they have someone outside of themselves to help sort through past experiences and emotions.
I am dedicated to working alongside you in a space where your voice is heard, your experiences are validated, and we work together to help you move toward lasting empowerment. My deep belief is that every individual has potential for growth, and I am honored to be a part of your journey.
